1. What we collect
When you visit arekoreshop.com, we automatically collect:
- Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, referrer, request path, timestamp)
- Google Analytics 4 events (pageviews, clicks, scroll depth) under our GA4 property
- Cookies set by Google Analytics for measurement purposes
When you click an affiliate link to amazon.com or another retailer, the retailer's site sets its own cookies for affiliate attribution. Those cookies are governed by the retailer's privacy policy, not ours.
2. How we use it
- To understand which editorial topics our readers find useful
- To improve the Site's structure, navigation, and editorial quality
- To attribute affiliate sales back to the originating page (for our internal accounting)
- To detect and prevent abuse
We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties. We do not use the data for advertising profile building beyond what Google Analytics 4 provides as a default measurement service.

- Amazon Associates — sets attribution cookies when you click an affiliate link. See Amazon's Privacy Notice.
- Cloudflare / Amazon CloudFront — content delivery and DDoS protection. Standard infrastructure logs only.
4. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the EU GDPR, the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), or Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI). These may include:
- Right to access the personal data we hold about you
- Right to request correction or deletion
- Right to opt out of certain processing

5. Cookies
You can disable cookies in your browser. If you disable them, the Site will still work, but our Google Analytics measurement will not track your visit. We do not currently use a cookie consent banner because we only set analytics cookies (not advertising cookies); GDPR-region visitors should configure their browser-level controls accordingly.
6. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
7. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date above.
